Scott Krueger
FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT
Biography
Scott founded Reliant Fire Apparatus, Inc. in October of 1994. His interest in Fire Apparatus started in 1977 when he joined the Cedarburg Fire Department. During his time with CFD Scott was a firefighter, EMT, vehicle operator, lieutenant, and captain.
In 1987, Scott pursued his enjoyment of fire apparatus by making a career change and going to work for Pierce Manufacturing in Appleton WI starting in the sales department and eventually starting and heading up the company’s marketing department as its marketing manager. While at Pierce he was very involved in new product development, served as the chairman of the technical committee for the Fire Apparatus Manufacturer’s Association (FAMA) and served on the NFPA 1901 Technical Committee.
In 1994, the opportunity to start his own business as a Pierce sales organization presented itself and Reliant Fire Apparatus was born. Scott, his wife Sherri and three sons Jason, Brett and Bryan are all involved in Reliant Fire Apparatus.
When not involved in the business Scott enjoys the outdoors including fishing, hunting, and anything outdoors. Each year Sherri and Scott escape the Wisconsin cold to someplace warm and tropical and then each summer fishing together in the remote wilderness of Canada.
