Service Technician
Biography
Ryan joined Reliant Fire as a service tech in July of 2020. Before employment with Reliant Fire, Ryan was employed for over twenty years performing service and diagnostic work in the heavy duty truck, heavy equipment, locomotive, and fire apparatus fields.
Ryan spent nearly 9 years in Alaska working at an oil refinery as their primary rolling stock mechanic, and that is where Ryan began his fire career, and began to service fire apparatus. After joining the Tesoro Fire Brigade in 2008, Ryan began to collect fire, EMS, and industrial fire certifications, which included courses at The University of Nevada, and Texas A&M University- ultimately which advanced Ryan to the position of Lieutenant.
After Ryan and his family moved back to Wisconsin in 2014, Ryan continued his fire service and joined the Jackson Fire Department, where he currently serves as a MPO, and EMT-B. Ryan is FF1, FF2, Hazmat, Ice rescue, Driver/operator, Aerial, EMT-B, and is one of the departments CPR instructors.
Ryan’s is a dad to five great kids, and his free time is spent enjoying four-wheeling with them, supporting them with all their various activities, and riding his motorcycle.
