On September 16th Pierce will be once again hosting the 5th annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at Lambeau Field. The event is in honor and memory of the 343 firefighters who performed the ultimate sacrifice and gave their lives in service during the tragic events at the World Trade Center on September 11th, 2001. All Proceeds of the event go the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation to provide resources and funding to aid survivors and reduce firefighter deaths. The event represents the 110 stories (the height of the World Trade Center towers) that both men and women were forced to climb on that tragic day. On the representative 78th floor, which is the highest floor firefighters reached on 9/11, each climber will ring a fire bell in honor of those who have fallen.
Remember the fallen, help those who survived, and join the climb.
